Disney Grad Nite is probably the once in a lifetime opportunity for high school grads. For students who avail it is a golden memory that they love to tell their kids about. It was introduced in’61 by Walt Disney and has been taking place in Disneyland since then. usually takes place in April, May or June.
In the year 2009, it was moved from the Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios but it is thought that it will be moved back to its old place. As we all know, there is no place like Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to have fun. It is an all night event and starts from 9:00 p. M. And lasts till 6:00 a. M.
It is laced with live performances, wonderful rides and many other surprises. The students enjoy this very much which is pretty obvious since it is the most anticipated event of the year by the high school grads. Unfortunately, a few incidents like three deaths have taken place due to the carelessness of the participants. Since then, Disney has closed a few of its rides and places to cut down the tragedies.
Due to a few tragedies that occurred during the nite in past few years due to the breaking of rules by some unruly grads, Disney has taken strict measures such as the closing places like the Tom Sawyer’s Island and the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln which has been used by participants for unusual activities. It is unfortunate how some students have ended up ruining the nights for other grads.
The nite starts at Main Street and then it moves to the dance floor, followed by fireworks at 11:30 p. M. Disneyland is decorated specially for this occasion and includes sponsorship stalls and several dance clubs. Along with special lightning is done and even the darkest areas of the Disneyland are brightly lit. An illuminated walkway with music blaring from the speakers of top songs and artists of that year, Disneyland becomes a wonderland ever more.
The nite starts at 9:00 p. M. From Main Street and moves on to the dance floors. Disney also shows spectacular fireworks and they are very much anticipated amongst the students. Not to mention as it is an all-nite party students can enjoy many Disney’s rides and watch acts and shows. The whole of Disney World is decorated with lights and stalls with sponsorship are also set.
Apart from this, each year Disney surprises the participating grads through acts and shows that are shown for the first time on this night. Students can see the wonderful and famous fireworks of the Disney at 11:30 every year on this nite. Apart from this, the decorations are specially done and all walkways and dark places in the Disney are illuminated by brilliant lights.
Disney Grad Nite is not only the most anticipated event for high school grads but it also includes the anticipation of which celebrity will make appearance on that night.
